Cultivating Our Own To Lead (COOL) was a project of Santa Fe Indian School and was funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The program met the goal to certify at least 25 Native teachers as administrators. Participants took classes through New Mexico Highlands University, did internships at a variety of school settings, and conducted research projects.
